Lynn O’Connor, who serves as president and chief executive officer of Ingleside, announced that she will step down from her post on May 7, 2027. Her departure marks the end of a period during which she guided the organization through numerous milestones while maintaining a focus on resident well-being.
The path that led her to the top began in 1980, when she entered the workforce as an administrator-in-training at a Maryland nursing home and hospice. That early role offered her direct exposure to the challenges of long-term care, laying the groundwork for a career defined by hands-on experience and steady advancement.
Reflecting on her time at the helm, O’Connor said that serving alongside the Ingleside family has been a distinct privilege. She highlighted the organization’s ARISE values, noting that the principles of authenticity, strength and transparency have shaped daily interactions and long-term strategy alike.
